Smart Music Resource

For those who would like to expand their practice or even receive some help with their practice, I have created a Smart Music classroom account. This website allows students to have access to hundreds of pieces (choral and solo) and it has helps such as metronomes, recordings of parts and accompaniments, and other helps.  I am not making this a requirement but just something you will be able to have access to if you would like to expand your practice. To do so, you need to go to smartmusic.com and create a student account and join a class. Our class access code is GWWHQ-ZW7AN. Once you have done so, you can look up pieces on the right hand side. For instance, if you type in a title of a song, you will see the cover for that song we have worked on. Once it pops up, you will click on it and then press open. It will ask you what part you sing. It will then load a screen with the sheet music, and a play button to listen to a recording (with the ability to lower the volume on the accompaniment, only play your part, and change the metronome speed). This will be a wonderful resource for you if you need extra help with the music and/or if you are looking for more music to play and explore. I highly encourage you to take a look at this!
