Utah Tech Concurrent Enrollment Instructions

Steps 1 and 2 must be completed by Jan 16th 2026

You do not need to complete step 1 (Applying) if you took a CE class Fall of 2025

Applying to Utah Tech University and Concurrent Enrollment

Go to https://concurrent.utahtech.edu/

Select “Apply Now”
Scroll down to the part that says CE State Application and then select “Click Here”

You’ll need to fill out this application with your parents/guardians. You’ll need to have your social security number to fill out the application. For the student E-Mail you can use your personal or your school email address.

***Students Applying for Concurrent Enrollment for the first time:

48 - 72 hours after completing the application, the student will receive an email from Utah Tech with their Utah Tech ID Number. In this email, there is a link to create a password for Utah Tech. With both the ID Number and password then students can move to step 2 below.

***Students who have previously taken a Concurrent Enrollment Course and have a UT D#:

You will be able to register for CE courses immediately after completing the application process. If you believe you have been issued a D# but don’t remember it, please search your email or contact the UT Concurrent Enrollment office concurrent@utahtech.edu

Register for Concurrent Enrollment Classes

Go to https://utahtech.edu/

Click on the My UT link at the top of the page, then log in with your Utah Tech ID Number and Password.
Find and Select “register for classes”
Select “Enter CRN” and enter the correct CRN for your class:

Fin Lit CRN: 20664

Ent CRN: 22145

If you get a red error message, you may need to pay on your account, submit test scores, or retype your CRN #. Please reach out if you need assistance concurrent@utahtech.edu
A green “Success” message lets you know you are in the class. You can use this same screen to register for other CE classes if you know the CRNs.
Double check with teachers to make sure you’re on the Concurrent Enrollment roster

Pay Tuition for Concurrent Enrollment Classes

Tuition for Concurrent Enrollment is paid through Utah Tech, not through your high school finance office
You can access payment options by signing in to your MyUT at utahtech.edu

You might need to pay tuition for past classes before registering for a new class, but tuition for your new classes does not have to be paid right away.
