Standard 3 - Understanding Race

One aspect of cultural differences in communication is race.  Individuals often identify as more than one race. Understanding race is important to intercultural communication.  An understanding of the orgins of the concept of race helps to give a new perspective to how we see ourselves and others.  The following is a link to a PBS site about race.
