Instructions

  • Orchestra President: The Orchestra President will work closely with Miss Snow to ensure that the needs of the orchestra are met. They will assist with piece selection, concert set-up and organization, and any other tasks. They will also oversee any special events that orchestra chooses to attend and/or host.
  • Orchestra Vice President: The Orchestra Vice President will assist the President with all of their duties as needed. They will also have the specific duty of overseeing sectional attendance. 
  • Publicity Manager: The publicity manager will be in charge of making and distributing posters and flyers to promote our events. They will also be in charge of making sure recording equipment and or streaming is up and working for concerts if needed. Some graphic design knowledge is preferred for this position, however I will also consider people who are interested in design and are willing to put in the time to learn some basics.
  • Event Planner: The event planner will be in charge of any orchestra parties that we want to have throughout the year. 
  • Student Directors: Student directors will be in charge of conducting the orchestra if Miss Snow is ever absent. They will also each conduct a piece or two in a concert. Any student who is considering a teaching career or a music career should apply for this position. There will be two students chosen for this position.
